Scuba Diving Classes and Rates

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe and see underwater? If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Scuba discovery will let you try scuba diving to see if you like it with a brief class and supervised scuba time in the pool.  Class size is 2-6 students. 1 1/2 -2 hours

A Scuba Refresher/Tune Up is an easy and fun way to get reacquainted with scuba diving after a period of inactivity. Most divers won't admit it, but often they experience some level of anxiety when returning to the water after not diving for a period of time. Taking a refresher course and reviewing dive theory and skills before diving helps to reduce pre-dive anxiety and makes a return to diving more enjoyable and safe.  

Class size 2-6 students. 1 1/2-2 hours  Full gear rental available for $60

The open water course is an entry-level certification course designed to give you the necessary skills to safely conduct open water dives anywhere in the world with a buddy to a max depth of 60 feet.

Consists of Class and Pool sessions then Open Water check out dives.  

First Dive and Beyond Scuba requires students to have their own snorkel kit.  Mask, snorkel, fins, boots. Buy a set from us with a student discount. 

Online e- learning from home at your own pace (instructor always available) or in person with an Instructor.  Then meet with an instructor for a short class, go over the test, and knowledge review.  Followed by the pool training sessions.

Free referrals to do the open water check out dives.  

2 days at Table Rock Lake for the open water dives.  Hotel, cabins, or camping is available on site at Indian Point.

The SDI Computer Nitrox course is designed to teach open water divers how to use nitrox mixtures up to 40 percent with the aid of a nitrox programmable dive computer.

The purpose of this course is to give the diver an overview of 5 different specialties, 2 core, and 3 additional SDI Specialties. The two core specialties are, SDI Deep and Navigation. One dive, from each of the specialties, may apply toward a complete specialty certification. Gear rental for $50

The SDI Advanced Diver Development program requires a new open water student to complete 4 SDI, TDI or ERDI Specialties or equivalent, combined with 25 logged dives. SDI believes a diver will truly be advanced after this is accomplished.

The rescue certification course is designed to develop the knowledge and necessary skills for an individual to effectively perform diver rescues and assists, and administer necessary first aid. Gear rental for $50. First response training is required.

This course is cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, and automated external defibrillator (AED) use combined into one program.  It is designed to teach the techniques to administer CPR, first aid, and utilize an AED in emergency situations involving infants, children, and adults.

The SDI Master Scuba Diver Development Program was created to make true master divers. The SDI Master Scuba Diver Development program requires a new open water diver to complete 4 SDI, TDI or ERDI Specialties (or equivalent), the SDI Rescue Diver Course (or equivalent), and logged 50 dives. SDI believes a diver will be a true master scuba diver after this is accomplished.
